Cuiping Village (翠屏村 / Cuìpíng Cūn)

A small hillside village west of Yangshuo with one of the region's most photogenic sunset viewpoints. Layers of karst peaks turn gold in the late afternoon, and the crowd level is much lower than Xingping.

Daxu Ancient Town (大圩古镇 / Dàxū Gǔzhèn)

A riverside town that predates modern Guilin, with stone streets, old wooden houses, and a quiet morning market.

Yao Mountain (尧山 / Yáo Shān)

The highest peak near Guilin city, with panoramic views over the karst basin.

Xingping west bank (兴坪对岸)

Most visitors see the 20 RMB viewpoint from the east bank. The west bank, reached by a small ferry, has fewer crowds and a wider angle.

Fuli Town (福利镇 / Fúlì Zhèn)
